About archaic women of China (Ⅰ)

China is a civilized archaic country. She has more than 5000 years centuries-old history. But women were despised and oppressed for long long time.They had not  liberties,rights.They just men’s goods.One man allowed to have many wives .The first one called “wife”,the others called “concubine”.But a woman couldn’t have  two men in her whole life.The woman whose husband was died couldn’t be married an other man,She must lived alone whole life or died with his husband .but the man whose wife was died could be married an other woman.Women (or girls)were forbidden to touch men.Girls couldn’t be seen by boys and men(except for her families).They couldn’t reveal their hands,feet,legs,arms,etc.They were like Arabian women today.If one woman who was detected to contacted with a man furtively,she would died certainly.

Especially,women were forbiddent go to school.They just stayed at home to do some housework.Men lived under the sunshine,but women lived under the ground till 1949.

In October 1,1949, The Republic of China built.women of China were liberated.They were treated the same as men.everyone was aupair.Women went out of families to studying,working,joining army,etc.They could do anything like men.Importantly,one husband one wife was in law till now.

Now,China is opening and improving increasingly,women become modern like western women also.
